How to access PlayStation Plus on PC

Find out how to navigate the PlayStation®Plus PC app and stream PlayStation Plus games on your PC.

PlayStation Plus on PC requirements

  • An adult account for PlayStation Network.
  • Broadband with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps — a wired connection is recommended. 
  • A compatible controller.

  • Core i3 2.0 GHz 

  • 300 MB of available storage 

  • 2 GB of RAM 

  • Sound card; USB port

How to download the PlayStation Plus app on your PC 

  1. Visit the PlayStation Plus app download page.

  2. Install any drivers by following the onscreen prompts.

How to start streaming PlayStation Plus games on your PC

  1. Start the app and sign in to your account or create an account if you don't already have one. 

  2. Connect a compatible controller to your PC. You can browse using a controller or keyboard/mouse, but you need a compatible controller to play. 

  3. If you haven’t signed up for PlayStation Plus, select a membership plan.

  4. Select a game to start streaming.

  • DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller

Please note, some third party PC compatible controllers that use XInput work with the PlayStation Plus on PC service, but we do not guarantee that they are fully compatible. 

Using a headset with PlayStation Plus on PC 

  • Game audio is routed through your PC speakers or headphones. Plugging your headset into your controller won't work. 
  • PlayStation Plus on PC does not currently support Party Chat functions.

Frequently asked questions

Is online multiplayer supported for PS Plus on PC?
If you are playing a PS Plus game on PC that includes online multiplayer modes, you'll be able to access these just as you would if you owned the game on disc or download. 

Is local multiplayer supported for PS Plus on PC?
Local multiplayer is supported on compatible PS Plus games but is limited to two players on PC. 

Does PS Plus on PC support voice chat?
PlayStation Plus on PC does not currently support Party Chat functions.

Can I add game add-ons and DLC to PlayStation Plus catalog games
Game add-ons and DLC can't be used when streaming a PS Plus game. However, we always try to make sure that the best possible versions of games are available on PlayStation Plus as soon as possible.
