Hunt, craft, track and survive

Embark on a perilous hunting expedition into a newly discovered continent known only as ‘The New World’. Prowl its uncharted wilds in search of the land’s most ferocious beasts in Monster Hunter: World.

Each new foe you discover will pose a unique challenge, demanding careful planning and a hunter’s instinct to bring it down. Use a vast array of traps, lures, and weapons as well as the living ecosystem around you to overcome your quarry.

Carcasses can be harvested for materials to upgrade and augment your arsenal, while the environment itself can tip the battle in your favor, providing cover, vantage points, and even allowing you to pit monsters against one another.

This world is yours to explore as you choose, either as a lone warrior on the path to glory, or with up to three other players online in drop-in, drop-out cooperative play.

PS4 exclusive: play as Aloy

As part of a special collaboration, you'll be able to explore Monster Hunter: World as Horizon Zero Dawn's machine-hunting hero Aloy.

Complete sets of Nora warrior armor, unique weapons, and even outfits for your Palico will be yours to track down in special events to come.

Create your own Palico: making friends

No self-respecting monster hunter heads out into the world without their Palico companion close at hand.

Small but mighty, these sentient, cat-like creatures are a signature of the Monster Hunter series, aiding you with every part of your hunt, from scavenging and tracking, to the final showdown.

Hunt the most ferocious beasts

Embark on a treacherous expedition into a frozen world in a huge expansion to Capcom’s open-world, beast-battling adventure.

With much more content than Monster Hunter: World, Iceborne continues from where you left off and takes you to the Hoarfrost Reach, a new snow-covered terrain and the game’s largest region.

Adapt to hazardous weather conditions and gather resources to upgrade your arsenal as you explore this snow-covered land and hunt down new and familiar monsters - including a mysterious elder dragon known as Velkhana who attacks with devastating ice attacks.

Challenge yourself

Broaden your combat repertoire in the skill-based progression system as you work your way up to the Master Rank difficulty, a brand-new quest tier above High Rank that makes new and existing monsters more ferocious than ever before.

Upgrade your arsenal

The Slinger has received a few upgrades and can now be used while the main weapon is drawn. Master the Clutch Claw to grapple onto monsters and use the Flinch Shot to stun your foes. Each of the 14 weapon types also have new combos and elements, creating new tactics to master in combat.
