How to use credit or debit cards on PlayStation Store

How to link a credit or debit card to PlayStation Store online

If you add a payment method while shopping on PlayStation Store, the payment information will be saved to your account.

  1. Sign in to Account Management
  2. Select Payment Management > Add Payment Method.
  3. Enter your card information.
  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts.

  2. Select Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Payment Methods.

  3. Select Add a Credit/Debit Card.

  4. Enter your card information, and then select Done.

  5. When you turn on Set as Default, this payment method will be used the next time you buy something.

  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Wallet > Payment Methods.

  2. Select Add a Credit/Debit Card and enter your a credit or debit card information.

  • You can also use a credit or debit card to top up your wallet, which can then be used to make PlayStation Store purchases. 
  • A child account doesn't have a PlayStation wallet, and can only make purchases using funds from the family manager's PlayStation wallet within a monthly spending limit. This limit is automatically set to 0 when the account is created.

Why can't I link my credit or debit card to PlayStation Store?

If your credit or debit card is not compatible with your PlayStation Store country/region, you can use another payment method, or purchase Wallet Top-Up Vouchers, to make purchases.
