How to redeem a PlayStation Store voucher code

Learn how to redeem content, subscription and wallet top-up voucher codes through PlayStation Store.

How to redeem a PlayStation Store voucher online

  1. Go to PlayStation Store and select your profile at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Redeem Codes from the drop-down menu.
  3. Carefully enter the code and select Redeem.
    The credit or content is applied to your account.
  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts.
  2. Select Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Redeem Codes.
  3. Enter the code and select Redeem.

You can also redeem a voucher code during checkout by selecting Redeem Codes and Gift Cards from the payment method menu.
  1. Go to PlayStation Store > Redeem Codes.
  2. Carefully enter the code and select Redeem.
    The credit or content is applied to your account.
  1. Select the PlayStation Store icon and then select the menu from the right side of the screen. 
  2. Select Redeem Codes. 
  3. Carefully enter the code and select Next to continue.
    The credit or content is applied to your account.

PlayStation Store voucher restrictions

  • PlayStation Store voucher codes contain 12 digits. If you have a 10-digit discount code, please see How to redeem a Discount Code.
  • The voucher code needs to be for the same region as your account. For physical vouchers, look for a printed flag indicating the country/region. 
  • It is not possible to transfer funds or content between accounts, so make sure to redeem your code on the correct account.
  • In order to redeem some subscription vouchers you may need a valid payment method.

Using voucher codes on child accounts

  • PlayStation®Plus subscription benefits such as monthly games and online multiplayer are limited by age ratings and the parental controls set on child accounts. 
  • Wallet top-up voucher codes need to be redeemed on the family manager’s account. The family manager can then set up a monthly spending limit for the child.

Voucher codes can be used once. To check your transaction history, sign in to Account Management. Redeemed vouchers appear in the transaction details section.

Redeem a discount code on PlayStation Store

A discount code can be applied to your PlayStation Store shopping cart.

  1. On your device, go to the PlayStation Store and add items to your Cart.
  2. Select Enter Discount Code.
  3. Enter the 10-digit discount code.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Please note, a discount code can't be applied to subscription services or pre-orders. A discount code can't be combined with other discount codes or have multiple uses for one account.
