How to find and download games purchased from PlayStation Store

Learn how to download your PlayStation™Store purchases to your PlayStation®5 console or PlayStation®4 console and how to download games remotely.

How to find PlayStation Store purchases online

  1. Scroll to the top of a PlayStation.com page and select Sign in.
  2. Select your avatar from the top of the page > Game Library > Purchased.
  1. Go to Games home > Game Library.
  2. Switch between the Installed, Your Collection, and PlayStation Plus tabs.
  • For games, you can search in apps such as PlayStation Store, PlayStation Plus, and Game Library.
  • You can Filter and Sort your games in the Installed and Your Collection tabs.
  1. From the function screen, go to Library.
  2. Select Purchased.

To find game add-ons, select the game from your Library and scroll down to PlayStation Store > Your add-ons. 

  1. Open PlayStation App and select Game Library. 
  2. Select Purchased.

To see a list of available and purchased add-ons, select the game on PlayStation App and select Add-ons.

How to download games on PS5 consoles
  1. Select Game Library from your Games home. 
  2. Select the purchased game > Download.
    The game will install automatically. Depending on the game, you may have the option to copy and play a portion of the game right away. 

To purchase and download add-ons, search for the game in PlayStation Store, select the game hub and scroll to the Add-Ons section.
  1. Go to Library and select the Purchased folder.
  2. Select the game you want to download. 
  3. Select Download.

To purchase or download add-ons, select the game from your Library and scroll down to PlayStation Store. Add-ons you have purchased are displayed in Your add-ons. Select the arrow icon beside the add-on to start downloading.

How to download PlayStation games remotely

When you purchase a game, you can choose to start the download remotely via a web browser or PlayStation App. To start a remote download, you need to set up automatic downloads for your console.

Set up automatic downloads
  1. Scroll to the top of a PlayStation.com page and select Sign in. 
  2. Select your avatar from the top of the page > Game Library > Purchased.
    On PlayStation App select Game Library > Purchased. 
  3. Select the game you want to download from your purchased list and select Download. 
  4. Select which linked PS5 console or PS4 console you would like to download to. 
  5. Your game will begin downloading automatically.

If you do not have a linked console, a padlock will appear next to the game. If you haven't set up automatic downloads, the game will begin downloading when you next turn on your console.
