PS4 SHAREfactory features
SHAREfactory is a suite of video editing tools that can turn your clips into personalized showreels of your finest PS4 moments.
Start a project
Each SHAREfactory project can contain up to 50 video clips and export 60 minutes of footage.
Add a theme
You can add a theme to your project which contains a unique set of assets including stickers, fonts, intro and outro clips, transitions and artwork.
Edit your clips
Use SHAREfactory to trim your clips and edit them together using transitions and wipes. Create slow motion or time-lapse effects and add filters to any scene you choose.
Add commentary and music
You can narrate your gameplay clips and create video and audio commentary over your projects, or use the content import feature to add any music clips you like to your movie.
Edit screenshots and create GIFs
Use Photo Mode to add text to still screenshots or create a looping video GIF.
- Select Capture Gallery from the content area and select a video clip.
- Press the SHARE button and select an online service.
- Select Trim to edit a video clip's start point and end point. You can also add comments or limit who can see what you share.
- Select Share.
- Select Capture Gallery from the content area and select a screenshot.
- Press and hold the SHARE button and select an upload destination.
- Select Activities to upload the screenshot to PlayStation™Network and share it as an activity.
- Add comments, choose other options, and then select Share.
- Plug a supported USB drive into your PS4 console.
- Select Capture Gallery from the content area and select a screenshot or video.
- Press the OPTIONS button on your controller and select Copy to USB Storage.
- Select your files and then select Copy.
