Welcome to Warzone, and Al Mazrah, the metropolitan area and rural outskirts within the Republic of Adal in the next iteration of Call of Duty’s massive Free-to-Play Battle Royale experience. Al Mazrah is the biggest and most immersive Battle Royale map yet.

Al Mazrah brings with it gameplay innovations, 18 different POIs, thrilling player mechanics and the introduction of the objective-based, open-world DMZ Mode. Whether you’re new to Warzone or just new to the heat of Al Mazrah, there’s something for every type of Call of Duty player.

Dive into Ashika Island a small-scale Japanese-themed island map. Drop in through the mist and discover a world of castles, underground waterways, quaint residential areas and more.

Or set your coordinates for Vondel. This medium-size European-themed map comes densely packed with plenty of intriguing Baroque locales, such as a lowlands Castle, rows of townhouses, canaled streets leading to a bustling marina, an abandoned zoo and an art museum. Vondel is absolutely worth the trip.

Regular new content

New weapons, Operator skins, accessories, equipment, game modes, events, rewards and challenges are added to Warzone in every Season.

Mechanics

Warzone features mechanics including ledge hangs, diving, swimming, and a pistol quick draw - all visible through the game-changing 3rd person camera option.

The Gulag

Experience the classic Warzone overtime mechanic in this last-chance face-off with the return of the Domination-style flag control point. Fight to be the last one standing and earn another chance on the battlefield.

Circle Collapse mechanics

The well known Circle Collapse gets a brand new mechanic. The safe zone can randomly split into up to 3 circles, allowing for multiple “end game” battles before the final overall gameplay win.

Strongholds and Black Sites

Risk it all by infiltrating AI-patrolled buildings and score some high-end exclusive loot. With Strongholds you can fight through the enemy Stronghold to earn your loadout drop. With Black Sites prepare for the ultimate showdown to earn durable loot.

Proximity chat

Have something to say? Proximity chat allows you to talk to anyone within a certain radius of your squad. Go ahead - make your voice heard.

New vehicles

A fleet of ground, water, and air vehicles are featured in Warzone, including the Light Tank, Heavy Chopper, Personal Watercraft (PWC), Tactical Amphibious Vehicle (TAV) and introducing the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP), as well as the Dirt Bike.

Bring your loadout to battle

Loadout Drop; bring your favorite battle-hardened loadout into a Battle Royale match. Request one by collecting enough in-game cash... it just may pave your road to victory. Season 04 brings the Reinforcement Flare Field Upgrade, new public event 'High Stakes, and High Capacity Plate carriers to Warzone to change the way you approach each fight.

Call of Duty Warzone game modes

Battle royale

Grab a group of friends or drop solo into a massive firefight to be the last squad standing. Drop in, armor up, loot for rewards and battle your way to the top.

DMZ

Explore the high risk high reward, sandbox objective-based mode featured in Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and now Vondel. Fight against up to 100 players and over 400 AI enemies as you pick a hitlist of missions with your squad. If you’ve hit your limit, find a chopper and exfil to safety – or fight to be the squad that claims the final ride out.

Resurgence

Return to this fan favorite mode with Ashika Island or Vondel. Engage in close quarter combat, continuously return to battle and drop into best-in-class, fast-paced frenetic gameplay.
