Curriculum: An introduction to Python programming using physical devices, project-based learning, and intuitive, step-by-step curricula.

  • Standards Alignment: Strong alignment to CSTA, ISTE, K12CS, & TEKS standards. Reinforces CCSS-Math standards for 6th grade – Algebra I.
  • Curriculum Features: Each Mission objective is auto-checked. Assessments are by unit, scoring rubrics are provided for remix projects in all curricula.

Grades: 4-12

PD: 20+ hours of online PD with an equal emphasis on CS content and best practice, plus support and coaching throughout the year by contacting Firia Labs. Teachers learn Python coding using the CodeBot, CodeX, CodeAIR, Lift-off with CodeX, or Virtual Robotics with an equal focus on pedagogy and content.

  • Ongoing Support: Online learning portal with teacher resources; On Fire with Firia (PLN); community discussion board; virtual coaching with Ed Specialist.
  • Geographic Limits: None.

Cost: $199/student, includes teacher resources, hardware, and annual license. PD: $2500 + expenses for 6 hour in-person PD; $2000 for 6 hour virtual PD.
