AI Literacy in Your School
Curriculum: Hands-on, project-based introduction to how AI works and how it impacts students’ lives. Features tools such as Micro:Bits, AppInventor, and/or Python.
- Standards Alignment: Strong alignment to CSTA Algorithms and Programming standards as well as Impacts of Computing standards. Some alignment with CSTA Data Analysis standards.
- Curriculum Features: Each course includes a final project and hands-on usage of AI tools. They also create space for student reflection on AI.
- Programming Language(s): Language independent, App Inventor, Scratch, Python, Micro:Bits, Makecode
Grades: 7-12
PD: Week-long summer institute totaling 30 hours.
- Ongoing Support: Access to Day of AI curricula for free; ad-hoc office hours with Day of AI facilitators.
- Geographic Limits: In-person workshops scheduled for at least 20 teachers in a district.
Cost: PD costs $2,000 per day school/district wide. Curriculum is free.
