What is eFootball?

Konami's renowned Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) returns to PS4 and PS5 as  eFootball.

eFootball - previously known as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) - is a free-to-play football game, made for true football fans. 

At the heart of eFootball is eFootball World. Play as some of the beautiful game's powerhouses with Authentic Team, or sign and develop your favorite players to build your one and only Dream Team. Now online cross-play enabled, face rivals from around the world and take part in a variety of events.

eFootball features licensed club teams from around the world, including some of the biggest clubs in Europe, Latin America, Asia and beyond. Each in-game Season is designed to reflect real-life trends that impacts a variety of game modes. Player transfers and performance are meticulously reflected through live updates, allowing you to experience the fever pitch of the real-world football scene at your fingertips.

        Build your Dream Team

        In Dream Team, you can build your very own squad by signing your favorite players and managers. Develop and strengthen your squad, and take part in heated battles against users around the world in eFootball League to prove you are truly the best.

        Discover your favorite Team Playstyle and bring your footballing fantasy to life.

        Compete with Season-suited squads

        Dream Team is played out through separate periods called Seasons. Each Season's theme will reflect the hot topics in the real footballing world, and comes with a wide variety of Events to match.

        Play against other users in Challenge Events, or pose a challenge against the AI in Tour Events. Gain the upper hand in Events by signing players and building a squad that matches the Season's theme.

        Player Cards

        Collect a wide variety of Card Types featuring standout performers on the pitch, players in high-profile leagues, legends of the game and many more. Sign players using GP, eFootball Coins, eFootball Points and other items which can all be earned in-game.

        Also in the Card catalogue are POTW (Player Of The Week) Cards which feature players that put in exceptional performances, and special Cards that celebrate big names from the past and present.
