Create your Warrior of Light
Select from a range of playable races and backgrounds, and further customize your character's appearance—adjust everything from hair style and skin tone to eye and face shape, height and build, and more.

The PlayStation 5 console version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online features framerate improvements, faster load times, 4K resolution support, DualSense™ Wireless Controller haptic feedback, new Trophies, and 3D audio support.
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete Edition, Starter Edition and the Shadowbringers expansion pack are now available on PlayStation®Store for the PlayStation 5 console. Users with a PlayStation 4 license registered to their account can upgrade to the PS5 Upgrade Edition at no extra cost, while new players can experience the game on the PlayStation 5 via the Free Trial version.
An ongoing adventure
FINAL FANTASY XIV features multiple expansion packs, allowing players to continue the epic story and travel beyond the borders of Eorzea to new locations across Hydaelyn. Try out new jobs, face fierce new enemies, and grow stronger as you level up and obtain new, powerful equipment.
Each expansion adds massive amounts of new content to the game, brings new chapters to the ongoing storyline, and provides new areas to explore and secrets to uncover. The FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete Edition includes the base game and all available expansion packs.

Haven of the Twelveswood - Gridania
Explore the lantern-lit paths of Gridania where folk and nature exist in harmony. These labyrinthine woods play host to lancers, archers, and conjurers, along with the studies of botany and the craftsmanship of leatherworkers and carpenters. Investigate the mysteries of the Black Shroud beyond Gridania's walls to encounter wonder and peril in equal measure.
At the mouth of the Glimmering Sea - Limsa Lominsa
Take a turn around the regal decks of Limsa Lominsa, the heart of Eorzea's maritime prowess. Home to the wise arcanists and brutal marauders, you can also pursue your talents in fishing, blacksmithing, and cooking here. The surrounding lands of La Noscea boast sweeping clifftop views and idyllic farmsteads–perfect for a chocobo ride. Just be on the lookout for pirates.
