Windows PC devices running Windows 10 or higher will be able to use a DUALSHOCK 4 or DualSense wireless controller via wired connection.
Mac devices running macOS Catalina or later will be able to use a DUALSHOCK 4 via wired or wireless connection via Bluetooth support. Mac devices running macOS 11.3 or higher can use a DualSense wireless controller via wired or wireless connection.
PC players can perform the device software update for their DualSense wireless controller by connecting it via USB cable to a PC device running Windows 10 or Windows 11. The DualSense wireless controller does not need to be connected to a PS5 console to perform the update.
