Curriculum: Flexible implementation of nine, 10-hour hands-on modules for PreK-5 students focused on computer science featuring Scratch, ScratchJr, and VEXCode.

  • Standards Alignment: Strong connections to CSTA K-2 and 3-5 standards and NGSS. Application of CCSS-Math and CCSS-ELA and ISTE.
  • Curriculum Features: The curriculum includes detailed facilitation information, answer keys, example code, rubrics, and assessment opportunities for each course.
  • Programming Language(s): Scratch, ScratchJr, VEXCode

Grades: PK-5

PD: Facilitated by instructors, includes 16 hours of on-site or online immersive training with ongoing PD opportunities and asynchronous training modules. PD meets the needs of adult learners with an emphasis on active engagement with content, collaborative learning, and classroom application.

  • Ongoing Support: Lead Teacher provides on-site support; dedicated email and phone support; online forums; asynchronous and live online training.
  • Geographic Limits: None

Cost: $950 per year per school with unlimited enrollment. PD costs $500-$700 per teacher with a train the teacher model. Some modules require special materials.
